Leen Kawas Leads Propel With Vast Experience

Leen Kawas is the co-founder of Propel and the former vice president of the British Airways Executive Club. He has been in touch with various areas in which he used to build a platform for himself, setting up a winning formula that makes him one of the best players in his game.

 Leen Kawas was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buckinghamshire and an MBA from INSEAD. He is also the co-founder of Swisscom Business Services International Pte Ltd, an IT service provider focusing on SMB segments. He has served as the vice president of the BAA – Executive Club and a member of the executive team at London Heathrow Airport for three years.

Leen Kawas has served in various management positions, including sales and marketing strategy manager at Saudi Telecom Co. Leen was also a member of senior management teams at both Expedia.com and Travelport. He also launched the first frequent flyer program for Japan Airlines in that country. Leen is a member of the global business advisory council at INSEAD and an advisor to several small and medium-sized companies in Asia.Kawas was appointed to the board of directors of Hong Kong Airlines and was elected as one of the board of directors for Singapore Airlines.

 Leen started his career as a business development manager with Agility Software Group PLC, a provider of IT consulting services. Later on, he served as the sales director for Amadeus UK Ltd. He served in various managerial positions at British Airways, including the customer loyalty manager. He started Swisscom as its vice president. His most recent role was with BA as its vice president of the Executive Club and managing director of London Heathrow Airport.

 Leen Kawas has received various awards, including the Asia Pacific Outstanding Sales Executive at the British Airways Customer Service Awards. Kawas was awarded AMR (Airports Marketing Research) Award for Best Sales Achievement. He was also awarded Aviation Week/Business Travel News Best Airport Services award as the Best Airport Concessions,he was also awarded AMR (Airports Marketing Research) Award for Best Sales Achievement.

Leen Kawas has been an essential man for British Airways for years. His excellent record at BA is something that should not be taken lightly. He is now taking his BA experience to Propel and creating a platform where he can once again make his mark in history.
