Recently, as House Capital was being launched, Launch House announced they had set aside a $10 million fund to assist early-stage startups and companies that are members of the Launch House Community. The majority of House Capital’s profits will be reinvested in the Launch House community to help the company create a better experience for its members.
The company, founded by Brett Goldstein, Jacob Peters and Michael Houck, intends to create a strong relationship with business founders early in their careers. It has co-invested beside top investors in the industry, such as Paradigm, a16z, Y Combinator and Sequoia.
Some of the benefits of being the company’s community member include lifetime membership and full access to community amenities such as exclusive in-person residencies, digital cohort-based cohorts, retreats and fundraising support.
Launch House has invested in various businesses at their foundation stages since its inception in January 2022, including Anja Health, Ghost Financial, Coinbooks, and several others. According to Brett Goldstein, the company’s community continues to meet more inspiring companies and mission-driven founders. He believes House Capital will help accelerate its mission to provide viable business solutions.
Many different people from the tech and entertainment ecosystems make up the Limited Partnership base of House Capital. Among the LPs are Serena Williams, Peter Hollens, and Michael Ovitz, the co-founders of Riot Games, Dropbox, and YouTube, as well as C-level executives from Polygon Studios.
Jacob Peters believes that LPs in House Capital position the company in a better place to grow aspiring founders. They are dedicated to helping founders outside and within their company’s community.
