Kfir Gavrieli, a Future Leader on What Makes a Hero

When describing a hero, Gavrieli uses the word “symbolic” because it is a symbol of a story that goes beyond the tangible. Gavrieli’s company and brand, Tieks, provide positive action through smart technological innovation and fashion. Kfir Gavrieli elaborated on the idea of “ordinary people with an exceptional ability to do extraordinary things” and noted that our society is full of heroes. Their ability to live out their daily lives for the betterment of their communities is something that inspires and motivates all people.

Gavrieli begins, “It’s important for every person in the world to be able to choose a hero, because, as they say, a hero is a person who does what is right and good in a world of evil. The only difference between a hero and someone else is their values and actions. The problem with being a hero is you have to be very strong.”

He founded Tieks during a time when globalization was in its infancy. He realized that his own experience in the Israeli Army and the creative talent he had cultivated from scratch could be brought to life on the global market. “We have all had those moments when we had no idea what was going on, and then we saw that there was a solution,” Kfir Gavrieli states. “And the answer is always obvious.”

According to Kfir Gavrieli, his company employs 230 people and provides employment for soldiers to work in the manufacturing facility in Israel, which creates more than 60,000 pairs of shoes per year. When you start from nothing, a hero may just be a person helping other people.

Kfir Gavrieli elucidates that heroes are individuals who are connected with the greater good and go about their daily lives in a way that gives back to society, acting in a way that others can’t. According to Gavrieli, “Their strength and courage are not visible; their acts are done in secret.” To Gavrieli, true heroes are those who act consistently and selflessly and act without recognition or reward. “True heroism does not derive from fame or reward, but from what is good.” Refer to this page for related information.
