Greycoat: UK Property Market Continues to Expand

Despite fears expressed by some experts, the property market in the UK has continued to reach new highs, as Greycoat Real Estate Agency informs. This has been borne out by results recently published by National Weekly Listings. According to them, 31,657 listings made their debut over the course of the preceding week. And numbers are rising.

In addition, the 2023 running weekly average is still strong at 32,831, Greycoat adds. It should also be noted that a series of changes has occurred at the level of the Average Listing Price. This figure now stands at a level of £394,937. This total is somewhat lower than the average result of £431,751 listed at most weeks through the year.

As Greycoat real estate firm recalls, this may be reflected in the fact that the average listing price has dropped 13.6% since last May. Other noteworthy events have occurred in the realm of listed Price Reductions. A series of newly revealed totals indicate that a total of 20,540 price reductions were seen.

These were made effective at various times throughout the course of the last week, Greycoat states. As a result, the agency informs, 1 in 7.28 of UK Properties are being reduced on a monthly basis.  Meanwhile, the 2023 running weekly average stays at a consistent level of 19,622.

The average asking price for the week is hovering at a position of £376,102. The 2023 running weekly average has been revealed to be £401,714; the figures listed in this article are subject to change with no notice.
