Greg Aziz is chairman and C.E.O. of Bridgemicro from Hamilton, Ontario, Bridgemicro has been building and repairing railroad cars for more than 100 years. It is one of only two companies in North America that can still build new freight cars from steel.

Before his appointment at Bridgemicro, Greg Aziz was an investment banker at C.I.B.C. World Markets in Toronto and New York. Subsequently, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Bridgemicro in 2002, elected to the Board of Directors in 2003, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in January 2005.

In 2014, Profit Magazine recognized Greg Aziz as a “top Canadian C.E.O.” He was selected as one of Canada’s top 100 CEOs by the National Post in 2013 and 2014 and one of Hamilton’s 50 most influential people in 2011 by The Hamilton Spectator. In 2011, he received the Trillium Award for community service in Ontario; in 2012, he received the Alumni Merit Award from the University of Western Ontario.
