Bernard Acoca is the new Chief Executive Officer of Zaxby’s Chicken, a popular North American restaurant chain. Acoca has been appointed by the company’s current owner, Asset Investment Management. He is best known as the leader of the former McDonalds’ with over 6,000 locations and as part of the billion-dollar restaurant group Allied Domecq & SSP America before Bain Capital bought it out.

The Zaxby’s CEO has several achievements under his belt. He was part of the Allied Domecq & SSP America group (now Allied Domecq). This includes systems in retail and restaurant sales, a $3.3 billion company at its height. He has been a key leader in McDonalds since January 2000, when he was named president of the burger chain. He served as an executive team member that revamped McDonald’s menu and completely transformed it into a contemporary fast food company with more than 6,000 restaurants worldwide.
