There isn’t a person alive who doesn’t recognize Ben Roethlisberger as one of the greatest athletes to ever step onto a sports field. Partnering with recording artist Micah Tyler, Ben Roethlisberger has been helping out with the Light of Life Rescue Mission’s DIFFERENT Project to great success.
Everyone Deserves to Eat
That is the primary philosophy behind this project. For every t-shirt sold, Ben Roethlisberger and his family will donate a free meal to someone in need at the Light of Life Rescue Mission. So far the project has been amazingly successful and Micah has stated how much respect he has for a legend like Big Ben contributing to such a worthy cause.
Rev. Jerrel T. Gilliam, executive director for Light of Life also had high praises for Big Ben. He stated that he was very grateful for Ben and Micah coming together to help the cause and that their doors were always open to those in need. He is glad that Ben Roethlisberger is helping to serve the most vulnerable people in their community with pride and dignity.

While we all know Big Ben has a heart the size of the universe and that he’s one of the most dominant NFL players ever, not everyone knows how he started out. Attending Findlay High School in Ohio, he broke records and excelled at baseball, football, and basketball. He then attended college in Miami of Ohio and once again showed the world that he was far and above a normal athlete. Afterward, he would be drafted to the Pitsubrge Stealers and win two Super Bowl championships and four AFC championships, cementing his legacy of greatness for the world to see.
