NumbersUSA

NumbersUSA, an organization that seeks to balance immigration levels with U.S. population growth and economic needs, has bipartisan support in its effort to protect American jobs, wages, and resources for all of our people.

An analysis of NumbersUSA‘s message reveals that it does not favor one political party or another. The NumbersUSA team comprises people from diverse backgrounds with diverse political perspectives, including Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, who are eager to solve this problem as quickly as possible so they can get back to their personal lives and not have this be their full-time job.

NumbersUSA has found that the public is overwhelmingly united in its desire for reduced immigration with more than 80% of our members support a measure that would cut immigration by half. NumbersUSA’s analysis of public polling data found that not only does the general public want reduced immigration levels, but 65% of union households, 60% of Catholics, and 53% of Hispanics believe we should reduce immigration levels.

The organization has found that the public has been, over time, willing to contact their Congressional representatives and senators to express their views in favor of reducing immigration. The organization’s online legislator “Contact Your Rep” tool has generated over 3 million letters in support of reducing immigration levels since it began operating in 2007. That number represents approximately 1,500 letters per day for every day Congress is in session and includes the period before the 2016 election when candidate Donald Trump made reducing immigration a central part of his platform. For more information about the organization, they can be followed on their Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter pages for updates and related information.

Roy Beck, founder and president of NumbersUSA, said, “For too long, our immigration policy has been hijacked by special interests with deep pockets and giant corporations.” We are fighting to give power back to the people. Successful efforts in states across the nation prove that common sense immigration reform resonates with people at all levels of society. Just click this page to learn more.
