IM Academy, founded in 2013, teaches students the skills they need to be successful in trades through their digital platform. The educational model by IM Academy, is simple in theory. Students learn by completing modules called academies. Each module comprises a series of videos. To reinforce the information in the videos, students can participate in interactive live sessions. To pass the module, students need to pass a quiz. The live sessions take the concepts learned in the videos and apply them to real life.
The videos allow students to work at their own pace while providing students with the fundamentals of Forex trading. It is during the interactive live sessions that the learning takes place. During the live sessions, students gain hands-on experience. IM Educators direct each live session. To ensure all students have access to the sessions, they offer them on different days of the week and times to accommodate students in different time zones. The sessions are taught in 13 languages.
