Currently, the firm has 500 million dollar investment projects in New York. They include an elegant apartment on 184 Kent which is the renovation of a warehouse, and a Cobble Hill project in Brooklyn for eight townhouses. Under Jason’s leadership, JMH has become the leading real estate firm in the United States specializing in commercial and residential properties. Jason manages the company to produce quality, unique, well stationed and permanent structures across the country.
In 2014, Jason Halpern announced the opening of a 235 room Aloft South Beach hotel in Miami Beach. JMH redesigned Motel Ankara to build Aloft South Beach in collaboration with Madden Real Estate Ventures. The structure which was the architecture of ADD incorporation includes an eight-floor tower. The launch of Aloft South Beach marked the beginning of the first new hotels in the region since 2009. Aloft has 360 square feet rooms, giving it an upper hand among competitors whose rooms are significantly smaller. JMH’s construction of the hotel was a brave and calculated risk considering that Miami Beach had a shifty and unpredictable real estate climate since the early 2000s.
It is surrounded by Collins Canal and Lake Pancoast and is one building away from the waterfront of Miami Beach. Other nearby attractions include a couple of art galleries, a convention center, boutiques, restaurants, and world-class nightclubs. The hotel houses a round-the-clock fitness area, roof deck lounge, a conference room and an entertainment space that accommodates live shows. Before the opening of the hotel, Jason Halpern stated that restoring Ankara was a significant milestone for his business.
He was enthusiastic to begin operating the hotel and was positive it would serve visitors impeccably. Jason has a reputation of restoring historic spaces and has built a good rapport with locals in the towns that he works. Apart from real estate, Jason is passionate about philanthropy and supports courses in health and property development for the less privileged.
